The 33rd edition of the Fajr International Music Festival has been set to be held on January 10-20, 2018, in the Iranian capital city of Tehran.
Iran's most prestigious music event, Fajr International Music Festival, will be held on January 10-20, 2018, the event’s website reported recently.
The event will take place in different halls across Tehran, but the orchestra performances are set to be held at Vahdat and Roudaki halls.
Remarkable ensembles like Iran’s National Orchestra and Tehran symphony Orchestra are to participate in the outstanding Iranian music event.
Ethnic music performances will represent Mazandaran, Gilan, Bushehr, Lorestan, East Azarbaijan and West Azarbaijan, Kordestan and Golestan provinces.
Foreign participants at the 33rd Fajr International Music Festival are from Turkey, Portugal, Afghanistan, France, Italy, India, Mongolia, Serbia, Austria, Senegal, Slovenia, Germany, Japan and Spain.
Founded in 1986, the Fajr International Music Festival is Iran’s most eminent music event. The festival is affiliated with UNESCO and includes national and international sections.
